Spanish gardens
I've just come back from seeing Vicky Christina Barcelona. A gorgeous movie, and it makes me want to go to Spain . What a beautiful country. Lovely gardens, great architecture, not to mention the gorgeous people!!
Its a lot like Australia....climate wise and some of the plants do very well here. There was a lot of traditional stuff like virginia creepers and hydrangeas and elms too. Plants which do well here in Melbourne. The architecture is breathtaking and flowers mmmmmmmmmmmm.
So will have to put it on my list of places to go. Its amazing how reading a book or seeing a movie can really get you inspired about a place, and I have studied some of the gardens and a little bit of architecture and guess what....I'm inspired!!
Here are a couple of pics for you to enjoy. I've got to say i love the pink wall with the orange door. Stunning! It really says something about the person who lives there. Sadly they are not my pics but one day they will be.
For now I'll have to write about Australia ....but i am off to Queensland (Cairns) in fact in April, so cannot complain! The I will have some pics to show you.
Comments are always welcome as are new readers!!

Yes, it's a good idea! I'll put it on my list of places to go.
ReplyDeleteYou have such beautiful pictures. I love the contrast of the purple-pink walls and orange door. Ah, and the moped. Reminds of my days living in San Francisco and riding in a scooter club. Those were the days!
