A new leader in the hen house!

 
The chooks have starting laying and we have a new Female prime minister! These two things are something to celebrate!

Julia Gillard is the new Prime Minister of Australia, and I, for one am confident that she will do good things! She is dynamic enthusiastic and  (dare I say it) tough.

On a more domestic level, our chook Dot has started laying again, yay!

    Maybe it is an omen. One of my girls has started laying again as well. She's an Isa Brown (close enough to a red-head)
