Tea Anyone?
on Sunday I held my annual Girls Night In. Traditionally as the name implies this is at night time. However this year I decided to do something a little different and had an Afternoon Tea. Everyone brought a plate and my friend Brylee organised some fun games for us. Some local businesses donated goodies for Silent Auctions and we set about enjoying ourselves in an effort to raise funds for Womens' Cancer Research.
The idea is that everyone who attends donates what they would normally spend on going out out somewhere, to the Cancer Council, and to boost the numbers i also have a few things to auction or raffle off. Many of the ladies came in Pink and we had a great time and we had some beautiful gifts too. Tea went by the wayside a bit as we indulged in Pink Champagne. It was a beautiful day nice and warm and sunny, and we had a great time.
The theme was sustainable living and everyone had to bring there best sustainable living tip, and the weather received a gift voucher for 4 hours eco friendly cleaning. We also had a pamper hamper to auctioned off and the delightful Santa seen in the picture below.
Hope your weekend was delightful too.
If you would like to donate some money, or maybe would like to hold a girls night in of your own, you can do so on online here:
