Pictures from beautiful Queensland





We have just been to Queensland for a week. A perfect week of swimming snoozing fishing and .....sadly getting eaten alive by mozzies (mosquitoes). But we had a perfect week. The weather was just perfect, the company was great and our bed was soooo comfy we bought a new mattress when we got home.
Here are some pics of our beautful holiday.
This folks ....is the big pineapple you can actually get inside and climb to the top. Just to give you an idea of how big it is that fence on the bottom right hand side is about 2mtres or around 6ft tall.














 This was the local water dragon who lived in the garden outside our room, pretty game little guy he would come out and sun himself on the lawn in the the late morning so we decided to give him some pieces of fruit , banana and apple.

Fishing on the Maroochy river at dusk. The surf beach was within earshot but here was a beautiful spot.

A room with a view, what more could we wish for!



Wildlife and beautiful bushland, along with a perfect climate. The perfect holiday.
We are very fortunate to live in such a lovely country.
